DIY Coconut Oil Hair Mask

One of our absolute favorite DIY Hair Treatments is the Coconut Oil Hair Mask. We cannot stress enough how amazingly soft this treatment will have your feeling after just one use! The benefits Coconut Oil has unto your hair are tremendously long:

wholesale jerseys Coconut Oil helps promote hair growth while soaking deep into the follicles
• Coconut Oil helps moisturize dry hair from flat irons, blow dryers, and other styling tools
• Coconut Oil creates softness and luster onto your hair, making it shine
• Coconut Oil prevents split ends and breakage, etc.

The list goes on much further than this but we’ve decided to spare you the details and teach you how to make this incredibly hair nourishing mask. Our hair deserves some treatment after all we put it through during our day. The ingredients needed to make this Coconut Oil mask are 1 tablespoon of Organic Coconut Oil, 1 tablespoon of Organic Raw Honey, a small mixing bowl of your choice, a towel so you don’t spill any onto yourself, and a shower cap (or plastic bag.)Begin by heating your tablespoon of coconut oil in your (microwaveable) mixing bowl for about 30 seconds. We don’t wait the oil to be too hot just warm enough to have your hair really grasp and soak in the ingredients. Now add in your 1-tablespoon of honey.

Honey is an amazing natural antioxidant that will help make your scalp much healthier and also helps stimulate your hair growth. Once you’ve mixed up your two ingredients wrap your towel around your neck and begin to apply your mask all over your scalp massaging it in and most importantly don’t forget your ends! People usually tend to neglect the ends but they are your most damaged section of your hair. After applied just pop on your shower cap or plastic bag and wait a good 30-45 minutes before rinsing. While your waiting you can read a book or browse the web, anything really! Wash your hair thoroughly and just feel the difference throughout your hair. This wash should be used about once every two weeks or when your hair is feeling extremely dry.
