Everyone admires the ever so stunning makeup of all that is a 1940’s and 50’s pin up girl. From the ruby red lips and winged eyeliner, this look is an absolute iconic and classic makeup styling that can be worn for almost any occasion. The look, in all honesty, is quite simple to recreate, all that’s needed are a few makeup essentials and your already on your way to looking like an everyday pin up girl. Using a white or skin toned eye shadow; apply this all over the base of your lid. We don’t want to use any harsh eye shadows, as the look is quite clean throughout the eye area. Taking a very light brown eye shadow, apply it throughout your crease, buffering to ensure the color has been blended thoroughly.
Once you’ve got the eye shadows down pact, now it’s time to create that famous pin up girl winged liner! If you have difficulty creating the wing, just apply a piece of tape onto your eye and you should find it much more helpful. Create a very thick line that reaches up the wing. Grabbing a white eyeliner, line your waterline; this will make your eyes appear much larger. Apply some of your favorite false lash lines and if you really want to go all out add a few bottom lashes as well! Using a bright red lipstick, begin to fill in your lips. We adore Wet n Wild’s “Red Velvet” lipstick; it is the dupe for “Ruby Woo” by Mac and is only $1.49! This pin up look is an absolute classic and we hope you have fun recreating this gorgeous look.
